Great news, we will meet face to face on August 11 at Tower Lanes in Tacoma. Just in case you forgot here is the address 6323 6th Ave Tacoma WA. 98406. (253) 564-8853. Meeting will start at 7:00 PM, come early and renew old friendships. Memberships, hats, and derby tickets will all be for sale.

The guest speaker for August will be Art Tachell filling for Capt. John Keizer prepping us for our Salmon Derby scheduled on August 14th.

At the May ZOOM meeting member Fred Olness #100 was drawn and was not present. The next membership drawing will be for $370 at our August meeting. Do not forget that at each monthly meeting, all present and paid members are eligible for the monthly membership drawing for a cash prize of not less than $150 sponsored by John Hager of Southworth Marine. We would like to thank John for continuing to support us during the Covid19 lockdown.

The club is having their 25-year Silver Anniversary Salmon Derby on August 14^th. The weigh-in station will be located at Pt. Defiance boathouse. The hours will be daylight to 2:00 PM. The weigh station will be open 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM. We are looking for volunteers to man the fish weigh-in. If interested, please contact me. Look for details on the prize schedule in future emails. Tickets are on sale at Narrows Marina, ACE Hardware Gig Harbor and Sportco or on-line at GigHarborPSA.org. The Pt. Defiance boathouse has chosen not to sell tickets due to new Metro Parks and Marina policy.

The ZOOM meeting for July is canceled, the State is planning to reopen the end of June. Hopefully, our next scheduled meeting will be August 11 at Tower Lanes in Tacoma and will be face to face.
