GIG HARBOR PUGET SOUND ANGLERS PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE April 2020
Our next meeting is April 8, 2020 at Tower Lanes in Tacoma (6323 6th Avenue Tacoma, WA 98406). Our guest speaker for the meeting will be Dave Schamp from Wild & Hatchery Co-Exist.
I would like to thank all the volunteers that helped make our annual crab feed a success. Without the club volunteers, all our events would not be possible. Remember when you volunteer, your name is placed in the drawing for the Scotty downrigger at our annual Christmas party. Ed Chandler, Member #4, was drawn for the membership drawing at February’s meeting and was not present. There was no March drawing due to the annual crab feed in place of our regular monthly meeting. April’s drawing will be for $260. Don’t forget that at each monthly meeting, all present and paid members are eligible for the monthly membership drawing for a cash prize of not less than $150 sponsored by John Haggar of Southworth Marine.
The club is planning to have another table at the Pt. Defiance Spring Swap meet. Start to clean out your garages and basements of any unwanted fishing gear or tools. You can bring items to the monthly meeting or make arrangements with me to have them picked up. Remember it is time to return your catch cards.
