GIG HARBOR PUGET SOUND ANGLERS PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE June 2020
Our next meeting is scheduled for June 10, 2020 has been canceled. Hopefully by the time our July meeting on July 8 we will be in Phase 3 and can have a meeting.
There has not been a meeting since the March crab feed, so the jackpot remains at $260. Do not forget that at each monthly meeting, all present and paid members are eligible for the monthly membership drawing for a cash prize of not less than $150 sponsored by John Haggar of Southworth Marine.
The June C.A.S.T for Kids event has been canceled. Our annual Salmon derby in August has been canceled and we are discussing having a member only event. I would like to thank all the volunteers helping on the Chinook net pen project. We now have 106k chinook being raised getting ready for their release on June 15th. Hopefully soon, things will get back to normal.
