GIG HARBOR PUGET SOUND ANGLERS PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE April 2021
Our next club meeting is scheduled for April 14, 2021. This meeting will be presented via a ZOOM virtual meeting. You will receive an email with the logon information to connect to the meeting. The guest speaker for April is Art Tachell from Pt. Defiance Marina to discuss the upcoming fishing season and the outcome of the NOF process for the recreational community. We would like to thank Wayne Harmond from Northwest Salmon for his discussion on upcoming salmon rearing projects at the March meeting.
Member Frank Auman #271 was drawn and was not present. The next membership drawing will be for $260 at our April meeting. Do not forget that at each monthly meeting, all present and paid members are eligible for the monthly membership drawing for a cash prize of not less than $150 sponsored by John Hager of Southworth Marine. We would like to thank John for continuing to support us during the Covid19 lockdown. Please try to renew your dues for 2021 either on-line or by mailing a check to our P.O. Box. The club still has recurring expenses even when not meeting face to face. All memberships expired January 31 and only current members are eligible for the drawing.
The club has received a new shipment of hats for sale for $15.00, let me know if you would like to purchase one.
The 2021 board looks forward to working with all of you this year. The same officers will remain in place until we have a face-to-face meeting to elect new officers. Please contact any one of us if you have any comments, questions, or concerns.
