GIG HARBOR PUGET SOUND ANGLERS PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE FEBRUARY 2018
February’s meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at Bass Pro in Tacoma. Our speaker will be State President Ron Garner giving a presentation on the state of our salmon fishery.
Larry Bucklin, Member #179, won the January drawing at January’s meeting. Thanks to John Hager of Southworth Marine and Maggie Feagin Schauble of Windermere Real Estate for their support. Their contributions allowed the club to give Larry $580. February’s drawing will be for $250. The drawing is open to all current, paid members and members must be present to win.
Just a reminder: All memberships expire as of January 31, 2018. Please come to February’s meeting and see Membership Chair Pete Pitman to pay your 2018 dues.
There are numerous opportunities for members to volunteer to help with promoting the club and at our events. All members who volunteer over the course of the year will have their names entered into a special drawing for great prize at our Christmas party in December 2018. Remember this is your club, and we need our members to help promote our club and to help things run smoothly.
